First of all thank you for checking out this blog. Second, thank you for reading the article in the McDowell News. The purpose of beginning this support group is to advocate, educate, and support others whom are learning about food allergies. I am not a medical professional and what I share on this site is purely first hand experience in my life with my daughter.

FOOD ALLERGY CONFRENCE

First of all was AWESOME!!!!
I loved the leadership summit and the confrence was great!
It really made me think about some parts of food allergies that I had not thought about.

I will be posting some other things that I learned on the website.

As it is drawing closer for me to go to Las Vegas, Nevada, I am getting very excited. Please if you have any questions send them to me. You may email me at mcdowellallergyawareness@gmail.com. The purpose of this group again is to share information with our community of what we are truly asking for when we go to a restaurant or other facility in the county. Also, as a point to share our experiences as allergy suffers or parents of allergy suffers. Please let me know what I can do to assist you. I also have some materials that you are welcome to meet me and look at.

As leader of this group I recently was emailed about a way that as allergy sufferers or their parents that we could post reviews about restaurants. As you have experiences at restaurants, let's see if we can post reviews to help others.

Restraunts

I have now created a packet for our local restraunts concerning what those with allergies are really asking for from the restraunts. Please let me know if you know of a restraunt that would be interested in recieving this. Also if you would like to contribute to funding to make these copies it would be greatly appreciated!
